The All Blacks were given an extra workout today when they picked up and moved a Land Rover Discovery that was blocking their team bus from being able to turn.

On the back of their impressive victory over Ireland in the quarter-finals, New Zealand are preparing for a semi-final showdown with Argentina on Friday night.

The game in Paris could see them seal the first spot in the 2023 Rugby World Cup final, but the start to their week hasn’t gone as smoothly as they would hope.

A video released on the All Blacks‘ social media platforms showed some of the squad shifting an expensive Land Rover Discovery that was in the way of their bus.

From the footage, it seems clear that it’s predominantly the forwards doing the heavy lifting, with the likes of Tupou Vaa’i, Samisoni Taukei’aho, Ethan Blackadder, Fletcher Newell, Ardie Savea, Luke Jacobson and Sam Whitelock seen in the footage. We also spot forward coach Jason Ryan offering a helping hand with the move.

The lift is clearly a success as it enables the team bus to reverse out and then turn away from where it was stuck in a job well done by the All Blacks pack.

As mentioned, New Zealand are looking to secure a place in what would be their fifth Rugby World Cup final after making the 1987, 1995, 2011 and 2015 editions.

They won the title in 1987, 2011 and 2015, which means defeating Argentina and then the winner of the England and South Africa semi would be their fourth crown.

New Zealand holds a formidable record against Los Pumas after winning 33 of their 36 meetings, drawing one and losing two, those defeats coming in 2020 and 2022.

Since that shock 25-18 loss to Argentina in Christchurch last August, they have easily beaten the South Americans twice, 53-3 in Hamilton and 41-12 in Mendoza.
